For Teen Driver Education

Free Video Loan Library The Club makes our safety videos available to teachers for classroom use. These videos are mailed to you free of charge; you are responsible for returning them to our office by the due date (the loan period is two weeks).

Workshops We offer several driver-training workshops to school groups. Topics include: Handling Driving Emergencies, Driver Anger Management and Parent-Teen Driver Workshop.

Driver Training Aids AA has produced a number of useful teaching tools for teaching driving skills, especially to teens.

Driver Education Award We provide an award to an outstanding Driver Education student. It is presented to the recipient at a high school awards ceremony.

Teen Driver Training Tools

Driver-ZED

Teens love computer games. Teens will listen to other teens. Put those two ideas together and you have "Driver-ZED," the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety's highly acclaimed PC-based driver training tool. These driving simulations ask teens to recognize and react to these risks. MAC and PC versions available.

Teaching Your Teens to Drive

Our research makes one thing clear--novice drivers need more training behind the wheel. The person most likely to supervise this training is a parent or guardian. However, to be a good coach, most parents need some help. "Teaching Your Teens to Drive" comes in both video and CD-ROM format. Included is a handbook with helpful information about each driving skill and a "contract" between parent and teen which helps set the family driving rules.
