Driver Training Aids
Driver-ZED
Teens love computer games. Teens will listen to other teens. Put those two ideas together and you have "Driver-ZED," the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety's highly acclaimed PC-based driver training tool.
The goal: to get teens to recognize the risks that confront drivers every time they get behind the wheel. This means: PC-based driving simulations that ask teens to recognize and react to these risks. There's no preaching, just teens listening to teens as they face simulated risks of driving.
MAC and PC versions available.
Cost: $12.95 plus tax for AAA members and nonmembers (add $7.95 for shipping and handling)

Teaching Your Teens to Drive
Our research makes one thing clear -- novice drivers need more training behind the wheel. The person most likely to supervise this training is a parent or guardian. However, to be a good coach, most parents need some help.AAA's "Teaching Your Teens to Drive" steers parents through the process of coaching their teens.
"Teaching Your Teens to Drive" comes in both video and CD-ROM format. Included is a handbook with helpful information about each driving skill and a "contract" between parent and teen which helps set the family driving rules.
Cost: $26.95 plus tax for members, $29.95 plus tax for nonmembers (add $7.50 for shipping and handling)
